Privacy Policy

What we collect

This is a static informational site. We run no third-party analytics trackers. We collect personal information on the contact form, where you voluntarily provide your name, email address, and message so we can respond. Contact submissions are stored in a private database and used only to handle your message. If you choose to support the site, Stripe — not this site — collects the payment details you enter on Stripe's checkout page.

How you vote is none of our business

We do not ask about, record, or infer your political views, party affiliation, or voting choices, and we never will.

Technical data

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request metadata (IP address, user agent) to deliver and protect the site; see the Cloudflare privacy policy. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile (a privacy-preserving CAPTCHA alternative). For abuse prevention, the contact API stores a one-way hash of the submitting IP address for rate limiting — never the raw address alongside your submission. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives standard request metadata when the font files are fetched.

Advertising

Some pages show contextual display ads from Google AdSense (publisher ca-pub-1147071442758508). Ads appear only on how-to guides (/learn) and the state election directory (/states). We do not place ads on the research feed, on ballot-measure explainers, or on other pages. We do not sell candidate, party, or ballot-measure sponsorships.

Google may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure those ads. See Google's advertising policy and ad settings to review or opt out of personalized ads. The Politics sensitive category is blocked site-level in the AdSense Brand safety console, not via on-page filters.

Voluntary support payments

Optional payments on /support are processed by Stripe via a public Payment Link. Support is voluntary and not tax-deductible. We do not store card numbers. Stripe's processing is described in the Stripe privacy policy. A Payment Link is only offered after it has been configured for this site.

Cookies

We set no first-party analytics cookies. Google AdSense may set advertising cookies on pages that load ads (how-to guides and the state directory only). Cloudflare may set strictly functional cookies required for security features such as Turnstile.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell, rent, or share contact-form personal information with anyone. Request metadata on pages that load AdSense is processed by Google as described above. Contact submissions are retained only as long as needed to resolve them. To request deletion of a submission, email scott@savyadvisors.com.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
